When my home was built CAT5 cabling was installed. It runs to each room from a hub under the stairs. We've never used it. We find though that our Telstra modem (new), which broadcasts auto does not work well in some rooms. We have 2-3 Telstra boosters. They though don't help. Eager for someone to check and prep the LAN to allow it to work - no cabling needed. Just link it to the modem. Also to check the auto 2.4 and 5 broadcast or set up two bands.

Hello. We are using an old piece of equipment (photographic film scanner) that only runs on a combination of XP and WIN 7. The XP computer (top one in photo ) needs to receive the scanned files from the computer the scanner runs on (WIN7 - bottom one in photo ), so the 2 computers need to talk to eachother. But currently they aren’t “seeing” eachother. Can you visit and set them up so they are seeing eachother as a network connection ? We have network cables.

My internet is technically working, but the setup’s pretty terrible. The telephone socket is inside the wardrobe, so I’ve had to run the D-Link router (I’m with Flip) out onto my bedroom floor—looks awful and isn’t great for performance. I’ve tried to fix it with Google mesh (pucks): one connects fine, but the second one powers on and connects to Wi-Fi, it just won’t talk to the main puck. The internet is also really slow and keeps dropping out. I’ve attached a photo of me trying to get the bastard parts to talk to each other. Please help!

My Dad has a FTTB in a big appartments block. One of the major NBN companies. For the past year he had about 10-15 episodes when internet stop working completely and sometimes it was resolved by the company tech support quickly sometimes it takes a very long time. We need a knowledgeable person to run through connections and help to restore / fix connectivity issues. Just an add up that internet isn’t working for past few days. PC wont load (black screen) after I enabled EXPO profile on RAM while having Intel processor by mistake. Tried to use other RAM - no success. Bios reseted - no success either. Black screen Code 00 on ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO motherboard . Narrowed down to processor or motherboard failure. May need LGA1700 Intel processor and motherboard to correctly identify the issue.
