I’m looking for an experienced flooring installer to remove existing carpet and install timber-look hybrid flooring in 4 bedrooms at my property: Address: 43 Skylark Street, Coolum Beach QLD Scope of work: • Remove and dispose of existing carpet • Supply and install floating hybrid timber-look flooring • Install flooring with existing skirting boards (prefer use of scotia/trim rather than removing skirting) • Include underlay if required • Install trims and finishing • Leave the area clean after works Bedroom dimensions (upper level): Bedroom 1 – 3.6 m x 4.2 m Bedroom 2 – 3.6 m x 3.2 m Bedroom 3 – 3.6 m x 3.0 m Bedroom 4 – 3.6 m x 3.2 m Total approximate flooring area: ~45 m² Preferred flooring type: Please quote hybrid SPC floating flooring, ideally: • 5–6 mm thickness • waterproof • scratch resistant (property has tenants with a dog) • timber-look finish suitable for a coastal home If proposing a specific product, please include brand and model in your offer. I have had a water leak inside my commercial office and require the old wet carpet to be cut off at a section and removed. Whilst I am not yet aware of the primary cause / location of the water ingress as it’s a body corporate building, I would like to have some silicon work done in the interim to hopefully mitigate further leaks until we can find the source.
