Hello, We are looking for an experienced cabinet maker, joiner, or skilled handyman to repair two broken cabinet doors at our retail store, in Macarthur Square. The Issue: Two under-counter cabinet doors behind our main sales counter have come off their hinges. This looks unprofessional and is an inconvenience and potential hazard for staff working in the area. The hinges appear to be a standard European concealed style. The Job: The task is to professionally and securely re-hang both cabinet doors. The scope of work will include: 1. Assessing the condition of the two doors and their existing hinges. 2. Re-hanging both doors correctly. 3. Adjusting the hinges so that the doors are perfectly aligned, hang straight, and open/close smoothly. 4. If the existing hinges are broken, stripped, or otherwise unusable, you will be required to supply and install new, suitable replacement hinges. Please note: The successful contractor must supply ALL necessary materials for the job, including any replacement hinges, screws, or other hardware required. The cost of these materials must be included in your final offer. Please see the attached photos which show the detached doors and the type of hinges used. Requirements: - MUST have experience with cabinetry, joinery, or furniture repair. - You must supply all your own tools AND all necessary materials (as mentioned above). - Ability to work professionally and cleanly within a live retail environment. - Public liability insurance is required. Replace first 2 timbers that are broken on the steps with 2x4s about 1m long. Another wobbles so just needs 4 new screws. You supply the timber and the decking screws. Should be a quick job for a skilled carpenter.
