The advertised budget is for labour only, material costs to be discussed. I’m looking for a capable handyman/carpenter to build a simple portable ticket-booth-style audio guestbook kiosk for my Adelaide audio guestbook business, Memory Line. I have attached an inspiration image showing the overall style I’m hoping to achieve. This does not need to be an exact replica. I would like a simplified, cost-effective version that still looks polished and professional in wedding photographs. To keep costs down, I am suggesting: -simple pine framing -7–12 mm plywood skins -no floor -no working door -basic removable top sign -simple timber shelf -inexpensive decorative moulding The booth will hold a vintage audio guestbook telephone. Guests will step inside OR stand at the opening, pick up the phone and leave a recorded message. Approximate size I am open to recommendations, but approximately: 190–205 cm high 80–95 cm wide 65–80 cm deep large front service-window opening open side entrance The decorative awning shown in the inspiration image would be LOVELY if it can be created affordably. TRANSPORTABILITY ESSENTIAL This booth will be transported to weddings and events, so it must not be permanently constructed as one large, heavy box. It should: separate into manageable panels or sections fit through standard household and venue doorways fit into a ute, van or suitable trailer be assembled and dismantled repeatedly Please include in your offer -examples of similar carpentry or handyman work -estimated materials cost -time frame (before 28th july ideal) -whether delivery to Adelaide’s north-eastern suburbs is included The most important things are that it is safe, attractive, lightweight and transportable. It does not need to be expensive cabinetry or exhibition-grade construction.

I need someone to come to my place with their tools to cut four wooden table legs to make the table shorter in height

I’m looking for some help woodworking and carrying a heavy plywood desk up the stairs. I'm wanting to have the desk width sawed 85cm narrower (cutting off the back of the legs & tabletop as indicated in images, to remove the uneven edges), potentially refinishing, and then lifting it up a narrow staircase. Technically the desk does fit. With the 85mm removed the final dimensions would be: 750mm H x 2000mm L x 665mm D, and the hallway is 810mm wide from each skirting board (though the handrail may get in the way). I believe if lifted vertically it could make it around those corners, though I’m not 100% sure as my friend and I were too weak to make a good attempt. If it turns out the desk won’t fit, I’d also be open to having both/one of the legs sawed off so that I can reconstruct somehow it situ (for additional $). It’s just a nice chunk of plywood so I want to make it work asap

Commercial cabinetmaker required urgently for one fixed restaurant banquette/Sofa base and approximately 7-metre overhead cupboard built and installation at Marryatville. Drawings supplied. Site ready for measure.

Simple job: drill through my timber verandah beam (30 mm thick) and fit approximately 10 x M10 x 75 mm stainless eye bolts with washers and Nyloc nuts. I supply all the hardware and a one-page sheet with marked photos showing exactly where each bolt goes - one near each post, one mid-bay, all on a level line. You bring a drill, a sharp 10.5 mm bit, a spanner and a step ladder. Single-storey, flat paving, max height approx. 2.4 m.

Installation of flat pack cabinetry

We have two problems to sort out: [1] Front pedestrian gate has expanded due to damp and so the lock is just too tight. Gate needs readjusting. [2] Need to rehang a repaired window shutter that is off a first floor window. Hinges seem fine. Can get access from inside.... Looking for someone with good woodworking experience!

External wooden house door isn’t shutting. Can see that it’s catching on the doorframe on the side towards the top - please see picture attached. You will need to supply your own tools.

I have an L shaped cupboard door thats come off, the bottom screws have snapped into the wall I just need the door back on I'm not fussed if the screws are removed or if you just put them in next to it. As long as its functional as it gets opened and closed hundreds of times a day. Otherwise if you can just put the holes in for the new screws I can reattach it myself, I just dont have the tools I need to drill the holes or remove the screws.
