Hi there, I’ve got a 2003 Subaru Forester XT with a freshly rebuilt and installed EJ25 turbo motor. It starts up fine but has a rough idle and sputters, almost stalling. The revs go up and down before it eventually turns off once the engine warms up. I suspect the issue could be related to: Incorrect vacuum line connections Manifold leaks or hoses installed incorrectly Possibly something overlooked by the previous mechanic (who admitted limited experience with EJ25 motors) I’m looking for someone experienced with Subaru EJ motors (preferably someone who’s worked on Foresters, WRXs, or similar models) to help diagnose and fix the issue properly.
