the headlight cover of my car is cracked in an small accident. i have bought a new cover, comes with a roll of snake glue to ensure a tight seal. according to YouTube viedo, a heat gun is needed to soft the glue so the old.cover can be moved away and the new glue can be melted. I have a tool trailer with electric brakes installed. It has a rectangular 7 pin connection to my car. I don’t use daily anymore. I Noticed recently, some of my lights were out. (Old connector pin in poor condition). After swapping over everything was fixed everything excluding electric brakes. The car has a red arc brake controller. The controller doesn’t register the trailer is connected. Have tried with other trailers and it works as it should. So I’m comfortable the car side is good. It’s on a 2024 Pajero Sport. This trailer is a better trailers built trailer. The set up worked fine for years. Obviously some wiring is corroded or damaged on the brake run. (Ignore the price suggestion? I’m not sure the issue yet)

I have a 2012 VW GTI and looking to replace the old (original) head unit with a GT Zone MK6 and compatible GT Zone reverse camera (see pics). The head unit should be a simple plug and play but the wiring for the reverse camera will need to be fitted properly with their 6m cable provided.
