Find a local audio visual technician in South Yarra

We have a home podcast studio and are looking for an experienced videographer/cinematographer with strong knowledge of interview and podcast lighting to come to our studio and help us optimise our lighting setup. We already have cameras, microphones, and several lights, but we're not completely happy with how bright, fresh, and professional the footage looks. We are NOT looking for someone to film an event or edit video. We want someone to assess our existing setup in person and advise us on the lighting. We'd like you to: - Assess the current lighting setup and positioning - Look at how the light is falling on the hosts' faces - Identify why the footage may look flat and dull - Advise on the ideal positioning, height and angle of our existing lights - Tell us whether we actually need to purchase any additional lights/modifiers - Recommend appropriate colour temperature/settings - Help balance the lighting between the people and the background - Give us practical advice we can replicate ourselves every time we record Important: We don't simply want someone to tell us to "buy more lights". We'd like an experienced professional who can diagnose the current setup and determine what is actually needed. Please find attached photos of the room/studio and the lighting setup which had the best light so far.

Hi! I’m a photographer/videographer myself and am looking at filming some art video projects over the next 2 months. I’m going to be in some of them and also would prefer not to do everything on my own (as it usually is - sure you get it) so would love someone I can trust to work with on these. I might shoot sometimes but we can work it out. Would love someone with a creative eye and experience in film shooting short films and or music videos. The goal is to get the videos in art festivals (I had one in an online festival a few years ago and also on display under flinders st in the art space there). I have an r5c we can use, prefer canon look but I’m open. I’ve had these films on the backburner for a year, so keen to shoot them. Can negotiate rate. Hope to hear from you!

This is from left field. We are hitting our heads against the wall in relation to this. We have had no luck finding the right person. We are producing a Podcast / video series on an infamous Australian identity. We require a host to interview the subject. The role would be blind, as in they would be off camera asking questions and produced in a way that the subject tells the story . The person would be required to work with our researcher to develop questions and conduct the interview. There would be some on camera for introduction to the series but the role is mainly blind. So we need someone who has a journalistic background or slant, experience is an advantage but it’s also an opportunity for someone who maybe undertaking journalism or wanting experience. Remuneration will be negotiated. Our goal is to find someone who is skewed toward research and getting the most out of the subject. It’s an amazing story and a great opportunity. Fluent English is a must. Hit us up.

Film a set of 100 exercises. It will take 3 hours to shoot then supply the 100 short videos (each 5 seconds long) We have 2 box lights and we don’t require audio.

This is going to be in a presentation for a large conference where 100s of people will be present. - The content itself is the interviewee answering 4 questions. Total length time of video will be around 6-8 minutes. - The shoot will be at 8:30am next Thursday the 17th in South Yarra, VIC, the location to be provided to the successful candidate. - We'd need a turnaround of 7 days. - Widescreen and 9:16 aspect ratio outputs required. - Question overlays, title of interviewee and an endframe which will all be supplied by us to be overlaid. - End product video quality we are looking for - https://www.instagram.com/p/DHFIpq2zyEl/
