Find a local audio visual technician in Essendon

Hi everyone! I'm urgently looking for someone creative, experienced and confident with video editing or media production to help my brother complete an important assignment. He's currently putting together a documentary about antisemitism in Australia, and we're looking for someone who can help bring his vision to life and make the final product look as professional and polished as possible. We will provide all the footage, script and shot list. Ideally, we're looking for someone who can follow the intended sequence, pacing and tone while using their own creative judgement where necessary. What we need help with: Editing and assembling the documentary using the supplied footage. Following the script and shot list as closely as possible. Creating smooth transitions and professional pacing. Balancing audio, incorporating suitable music and adding on-screen text where needed. Making creative adjustments where certain shots aren't achievable while keeping the documentary's overall message clear. We're open to professional video editors, film and media students, or anyone with excellent editing skills and a creative eye. Availability: Today (Saturday) or tomorrow (Sunday). Time required: Approximately 2 hours of collaborative editing assistance. Deadline: Must be completed by Monday! This is a meaningful passion project, and we'd really appreciate someone who's patient, efficient, friendly and enthusiastic about helping us produce something we're proud of. Please reach out ASAP if you're available, ideally with examples of your previous editing work. Thank you so much! 🎥✨

What I need help with: • setting up reusable Final Cut Pro templates for social media clips • building a clearer workflow for long-form podcast editing • syncing footage properly • switching between angles smoothly in a two-person podcast edit • creating a smoother overall editing process for full-length episodes • putting together a simple reference guide or checklist I can use afterwards What I’m looking for: • someone confident using Final Cut Pro • someone who can teach, not just do it for me • ideally someone who understands podcast or interview-style editing • someone who can help me create systems/templates I can keep using At this stage I’m looking for help with the editing and workflow side only. Please respond with: • your experience with Final Cut Pro • whether you’ve worked on podcast/interview edits before • what sort of support you could offer • your rate or quote I’m happy to explain my setup and workflow in more detail once we connect

I am looking for a talented videographer to produce a series of short, high-quality product videos (30–60 seconds each) for use on social media and an e-commerce site.
