I have an older NESS wired alarm system (NESS L8, Model L8-97 with LED keypad). I recently replaced the 12V 7Ah backup battery. When the battery is connected and mains power is on, the system immediately goes into alarm/alert. I do not have the installer or user codes. What I need done: * Reset the NESS L8 alarm system * Set a new master/user code * Clear battery and alarm faults * Confirm zones are stable and system is quiet when powered * Configure for local alarm only (NO monitoring, NO phone line) Important notes: * No upgrades required * No monitoring service required * Existing wired sensors are in place * System just needs to be reset and made stable/usable This should be a straightforward job for someone familiar with older NESS alarm systems. Monarch eco pure sand filter, Low pressure at 2-3. Sand filter leaks (water drips visible) at the connection points before the filter when in filter mode.
