I’m looking for an experienced seamstress, upholsterer or someone confident working with cushion covers to alter a custom bench seat cushion cover that has been made slightly too wide. The cover is already fully made and simply needs the width reduced while keeping the existing shape and finish looking neat and professional. Current dimensions: 210 cm L × 60 cm W × 10 cm H Required dimensions: 210 cm L × 50 cm W × 10 cm H The length and height are to remain unchanged. The width needs to be reduced by 10 cm overall.

Attach ~20-30 patches to shirts using 4‑corner handstitch; clean finish, no visible back knots (Stitching style attached). We supply shirts, patches, thread, and a workstation. You bring other supplies if needed! This will be a whole day (8 hour event work). One/two patches per 30 minutes. Event will be held at The Galeries (Syd CBD), time TBC, looking at 9am-5pm with 30 minute break. Optional: Name / initial embroidery, for the same amt of time (1 to 2 patches per 30 minutes). Different quote might apply for this. Please send past work if available. Must be punctual, neat, and comfortable working in a retail/event environment. Photos of past patch/alteration work appreciated.

Experienced dressmaker wanted – custom burgundy lace mini dress I’m looking for an experienced dressmaker/seamstress in Brisbane to recreate the burgundy dress shown in my reference image for an event in early 2028. I’m looking for: burgundy/wine lace fitted bodice, high lace neckline, short lace sleeves, structured/supportive bust with plunging front detail, fitted waist, and a short layered/ruffled tulle skirt. I’m very happy to discuss cost-saving construction methods, including making the bodice and skirt separately or using an existing bodysuit/base garment and customising it. Comfort and secure bust support are important as the dress will be worn for dancing. I can supply reference photos and attend fittings in Brisbane. Please include examples of similar formal/costume/dancewear work and advise whether your quote includes fabric/materials and fittings. My aim is ideally under $800 including materials, depending on what is achievable.

Hi! I’m looking for an experienced seamstress, dressmaker or costume designer who can recreate three custom costumes for myself and two friends, based on the reference photos attached. We’re wanting the ethereal/gothic vampire look from the references, with each girl having a slightly different costume: • ivory/gold two-piece with draped sheer fabric • white/cream flowing gown with corset-style detailing • blush pink/cream flowing gown with gold embellishments They don’t need to be exact screen-accurate replicas, but we’d love them to be as close to the references as reasonably possible, particularly the silhouettes, sheer/draped fabrics, gold detailing and overall romantic gothic look. We’re happy to discuss fabrics and ways to recreate the detailing without making the costumes unnecessarily expensive. They only need to photograph beautifully and have the same overall effect as the originals. We can provide individual measurements for all three girls and attend fittings in Sydney if required. Looking for someone who can assist with: • pattern making/adapting existing patterns • fabric sourcing or advising us what to purchase • sewing and construction • gold trims/embellishments • fitting and alterations Please send through examples of previous costume, bridal, formalwear or similar work if possible.
