Hi there, We've got a couple of pesky issues on our roof and, to get insured going forward, we need help from a qualified roof plumber. Our house is a two-storey home, and the roof is quite high, so you will definitely need a big ladder and be comfortable with heights. Here’s what we need done: - Replace Two Dek Tite Flashings: We have two leaking Dek tite flashings on the metal roof that need to be replaced. You would need to supply and install two new ones to create a proper, watertight seal. - Remove Small Bit of Leaf Guard: There's a leaf guard at the end of a box gutter near the gable that seems to be causing water to overflow. Insurance has asked for it to be removed to make sure water can flow away freely. Important Details: Because this is an insurance-related job (i.e. we are paying for it so that insurance will cover us in the future), it's crucial that you are a qualified Roof Plumber/builder otherwise they will consider the repairs invalid. We will need to see your QBCC licence number and proof of your Public Liability Insurance before you start. This is really important for us. The job is in Pacific Pines, and as mentioned, it's a high two-storey house, so please ensure you have the right safety gear and ladders. We'll need a proper tax invoice once the job is all done (i.e., the insurance company said details of your trade including ABN, trade name and address need to be on the invoice). I have bought a 12m x 3m Stratco patio eave mount carport brand new for down the side of my house per photos. Not entirely a straight install as the space can only accomodate roughly 2M from memory. So we'll have to chop the side beams shorter from 3M to 2M or so down to size, and cut the roof sheets shorter to fit as well. Simple stuff. On the labour upside I think we can just mount it to the fence posts that are 6 months old, rather than digging 600mm holes and concreting them in, so thats a nice win. Currently there is just a shade sail that unclips with a few d shackles, and 4 metal posts that will need to be cut at ground level and binned. Flexible on when to do it. I work Monday to Thursday so if you want to DIY through the week thats fine with me, or if you want a hand on a Friday or Saturday that also works for me and I can assist you. I'm easy either way. Unsure on budget. Lets discuss.
