Hi, my slideout 60cm range hood is quite loud. The kitchen shares a wall with the lounge room. When the range hood is turned on, I can feel the vibration and hear the noise in the lounge room. So I am looking to see if I can install some insulation around the range hood or replace it with a quieter one.

Rangehood fan button has broken. The actual button has detached from the underlying point where pressure needs to be applied in order to turn fan on (I can still turn the fan on using the edge of a knife to press that part). Hopefully just a matter of removing the rangehood and gluing that part back on. Or equally happy for a makeshift button that works - Due date: Flexible
