Install of a Westinghouse slideout rangehood into new kitchen cabinetry. We would like to duct the rangehood out the external wall directly behind where it will be installed. There is no existing ducting from a previous range (current range recirculates). The kitchen is on the second floor of a raised Queenslander, meaning that the external ducting point will be quite high (see images included). We are hopeful this can be done by ladder without need for scaffolding. You would need to supply the ducting kit/wall kit. New cabinetry will be installed on the week beginning 2 November, so we will be ready for range install either later that week or around 9 Nov.

The rangehood is a Smeg Victoria chimney-style rangehood, and there is currently no existing ducting to the outside, so a new ducted exhaust will need to be installed through eave. It’s a low set one story house. Tasker to provide ducting for room and external vent. There is a manhole for access. Electrical has been completed- they have installed a movable electrical outlet. The existing ASKO rangehood I think, (low profile) needs to be removed and replaced with Bosch DLN88PC60A Power socket may need to be moved, joinery will require modification and new set of ducting to be supplied and installed. I will buy the new Rangehood separately I’ve verified that the dimension of the ASKo is 86cm and the replacement Electrolux is also 86cm. Need to quickly advice if this is suitable and needs install by licensed , modification as mentioned above. Photos of existing rangehood and dimensions included.
