I have a new freestanding electric oven already purchased and at my house, looking for a licensed electrician (who can provide a Certificate of Electrical Safety (COES)) to swap the old one for the new one which is hardwired. The oven is already on it's own separate switch and is going from one hardwired oven to another of the same make and specifications. Old model is westinghouse 143 and new one is westinghouse WLE535WB. Photos attached. New one has blue protective plastic still on it. There is already an anti tilt plate installed of the same size, so no need to worry about that. No need to worry about any disposals, I'll take care of that, so just a swap, test and certification of the ovens installation. Rarely it works perfectly without going out once, most of the time it can take 10 or more re-igniting attempts for it to stay on. Hi, Gas oven issue. Pilot ignites the gas flames, however when you turn and release the knob the gas cuts off. Unit is a oven cooktop. The gas cooktop section works fine. Could be the heating temp gauge or something with the knob itself. Location is in Sunshine West.
