I have a Residentia / InAlto RU9EGB free standing oven. The fan-forced oven has stopped working. I tested the two fan-forced elements and they both report 44.5-45.0Ω. The fans both spin without any problem. The top grill and bottom bake elements work. The thermostat indicator light comes on and changes with temperature changes. I'm out of ideas now so I need a professional.

I’m looking for a licensed electrician who can disconnect hardwired appliances and replace ceiling fans / lights ahead of stripout and painting. I am renovating my kitchen/house and need the following work completed: 1. Safely disconnect and isolate the power to an existing built-in electric oven/cooktop so it can be removed. The appliance is hardwired (not plugged into a power point). 2. Replace 4 × ceiling fans and 5 x ceiling lights with temporary fixtures (all will be replaced later with new lights/fans, current ones need to removed for painting). This is the first stage of the renovation. The Job: Disconnect and remove the existing built-in wall oven (Chef Classic model pictured). Install and hardwire the new replacement oven into the existing cavity. Details: The replacement oven is already on-site and ready to go. It appears to be hardwired (there is a dedicated switchboard switch for it).

The power point inside the cupboard next to my oven is stuck in the "On" position and won't switch off. It's a non-clicking (spark-free) switch — likely fitted this way as a safety design since it's close to the gas flex hose. I’ve just moved into a new house and the hinges on the doors of both my LG inverter direct drive dishwasher , and my Belair oven are dodgy. The dishwasher door drops straight down to the floor and crashes down when I open it rather than staying in one place. The over door is clunky and feels crooked and wonky as I close it but it does close. Not sure what to do to fix these and am hoping there is someone clever on here who has experience with appliance door hinges ☺️
