Hi all, My fridge freezer keeps blowing the main switch. My housemate found someone on gumtree who said the defrost function needs replacing and we’ve paid him $50 to get it working for a few days. The fridge was free so we are not wanting to spend much fixing it. He said 250 dollars for a new defrost section. Is this correct? When we turn it on it trips the switch board? Is there any reputable electricians that can fix it for 50 bucks. Thanks Danielle.
