I’ve just moved into a new home and I need my Fisher and Pykel tumble dryer mounted on the wall over the top of the washing machine. It needs to be vented to the outside of the house which will mean getting some ducting as well as a cover for the outside vent. The path is into the ceiling space and out of the eave. I have the part which attaches to the dryer and can provide the additional venting pipe and the outside cover. Or you mat prefer to do this. You will need to bring gaffer tape and some self tapping screws. I have the brackets on which the tumble dryer will be mounted. You should be able to google the thing to see what’s involved. If it takes more than an hour, then you’re not the person for the job. If you have successfully done this before then you certainly are the person for the job.

My dryer is turning on but not spinning. When I spin the drum myself it spins easily. I believe the belt is broken and needs replacing.

I need someone who has done this before - install a vent with connects outside and mount the dryer one the wall.

The floating shelf located below it is coming loose from its mounting and will need to be repositioned/ re-fixed as part of this job. Will need any defects in plasterboard to be repaired and the patching to be painted as part of the completed job.
