Miele washing machine has a message technical fault F53 which I understand is an issue with the drum

I would like someone to help me determine what is wrong with my washing machine. No error codes, its starts makes a few noises for a minute then it just stops and acts like it has just been turned on. I then press start again and it does the same thing. its 5 years old. Brand is Samsung "8.5kg AddWash™ Steam Front Load Washer - WW85K54E0UW"I want to know if its worth repairing or do i just buy a new washer. thanks

The door of our Smeg dishwasher won't open all the way, it makes a clunk sound half way then gets stuck. We suspect one of the hinges has broken. The dishwasher itself works fine.
