I need a new door strut supplied and installed along with a fix of door hinges.I want a good quality one which will stop the door from slamming shut. I have already been through 3 gas struts and none have worked well. They all make my screen door come lose off the hinges which are now unable to be tightened.

My mum’s ensuite bathroom door is jammed and will only open a small amount (see photo). We believe one of the two drawers from the vanity, located directly behind the door, has come off its runners and fallen, blocking the door from opening fully. We have an extended rumpus room and behind that we have a laundry. We have recently put in a new toilet and we would really love internal access to the laundry. So someone would need to cut out the space needed to professionally add a new door and close off the outside one. The floor level seems to be the same height, so hopefully it should be an easy job.
