I'm looking for an experienced glazier to replace the existing plastic panels in two internal ceiling light wells/skylights with opaque/frosted glass. The current plastic panels allow drafts through, so I'd like them replaced with properly fitted opaque glass and sealed to eliminate air leakage. Scope of work: Inspect the existing ceiling openings. Supply and install opaque/frosted glass to suit. Properly seal both panels to stop drafts. Ensure the finished installation is neat and secure. Approximate sizes (guide only): Panel 1: approximately 1265 mm × 640 mm Panel 2: slightly smaller than Panel 1 (to be measured accurately on site). I've attached photos of both ceiling panels. My measurements are only rough, so you'll need to take your own measurements before cutting the glass. Please quote including: Supply of the opaque/frosted glass. Installation and sealing. Any materials required. I'm happy to answer any questions or arrange a time for you to inspect if needed.

We require a glass cutter to be mounted onto the wall in our studio. The wall it drywall, there are no studs, and just concrete/brick underneath, so it will need long masonry screws for it to go through the plaster and well into the brick wall behind. The mortar seems pretty soft in some areas so we just want someone who will be able to do this properly as it’s a heavy item (approximately 25-30kg) and there will be someone to help also.
