One of the lift cables has detached completely from the drum/bracket area. The cable does not appear snapped, but the door is currently not being operated for safety reasons and will likely need the cable reattached, door re-tensioned/aligned and checked over. Looking for someone to wire a small smart home device (ratgdo32) to my Merlin MS65MYQ garage door opener in Miranda. The device is already purchased and the firmware is already installed — I just need someone to physically wire it up and mount it to the opener. The opener is ceiling mounted so you will need to bring a ladder. What's involved: • Connect 3 wires (red, white, black) from the ratgdo32 to the opener's terminal block • Mount the ratgdo32 to the opener rail using the included clip holster • Plug the ratgdo32 into USB power (powerpoint is right next to the opener) The job is straightforward — only 3 wires, no pass-through connectors, no wall button wiring. Full written instructions and photos of the actual terminal block will be provided. The orange pass-through connectors on the ratgdo32 are not used.
