I have a 2017 Toyota Prius and the driver seat is not moving forward/backward. The motor is running (I can hear it), but the seat does not move at all. Previously, one side was moving and the other side was stuck, and now both sides are not moving. Most likely the seat track is stuck or out of sync. I’m looking for someone experienced with car seat mechanisms who can diagnose and fix it. It may require removing the seat and realigning or fixing the tracks. I am retro fitting Recaro Seats into a 2005 jaguar XKR the seat was a standard option available so the retrofit should be simple. The seat moves backwards, tilt function, but does not move forward or backward in position. We have tried several things, including repairing the module And replacing the original seat motor and electronics to the Riccardo seat still does not work. We believe there may be a wire issue.
