I need someone to pick up and properly dispose of one window air-conditioning unit from my apartment in Manhattan. The AC weighs approximately 50 lbs and needs to be carried down 3 flights of stairs. My husband is available to help carry it downstairs, so you will NOT need to move the 50-lb unit down the stairs alone. Once downstairs, you will need to load the AC into your own vehicle/truck, take it with you, and dispose of it properly at an appropriate facility. **This is a haul-away/disposal job, not a curbside drop-off.** The unit has a flammable/refrigerant warning symbol, so we are not permitted to simply leave it on the curb with our regular trash. We are throwing away this cabinet (8’x6’x2’) so it needs to be at the curb of the house then the trash company can pick it up, and we are moving the carpet (1 roll of 12 feet, and another of 6 feet) to the shed in the backyard for future use.
