Hi there We need to install 8 hardwired RF smokes alarms to replace an existing battery operated RF system. We will be using the existing Aico alarm controller (already in place), and 1 existing battery opertated RF alarm, but we will be replacing 8 other interlinked units. We’ve had a Nest system installed for around four years now, but unfortunately, it has never worked quite as well as we’d hoped. Despite repeated reassurance from our original plumber that everything is functioning correctly, we continue to face a number of issues: We frequently run out of hot water, especially in the mornings. The heating seems unpredictable - sometimes coming on at odd times and at other times not at all. Our energy bills are unusually high compared to similar households, and we suspect this may be due to a fault or inefficiency within the smart system. At this point, we’d really like to have a technician or plumber with solid experience working with Nest systems come and assess our setup.
