Hi! Thanks for considering my task. All walls are solid masonry. I’ve supplied the required fixings (Fischer DuoPower wall plugs, Goldscrew screws, white cable clips, IKEA HUGAD rods, BETYDLIG brackets, curtain holdbacks, IKEA LACK shelf and D-rings). You’ll just need to bring your own drill, masonry bits, spirit level, cable/pipe detector and a suitable ladder (ceilings are approx. 3m/10ft). I’m looking for a clean, modern, hotel-style finish. Jobs: • Install curtain fairy lights in 2 rooms (Living room: 6m × 3m, Bedroom: 3m × 3m). • Install 2 IKEA HUGAD curtain poles with BETYDLIG brackets. • Hang 4 pairs of slot-top voile curtains. • Install 2 curtain holdbacks (one at each end of each window). • Install 1 IKEA LACK floating shelf (190 × 26cm) above the bed. • Hang 2 canvases (150 × 100cm) above the sofa. • If time allows, secure 2 leaning mirrors to the wall. Fairy lights: Please install these first. I’d like the top cable clipped as high and as flush to the wall/ceiling junction as possible with no sagging. Please clip the power cable neatly down the nearest corner to the socket and hide any excess cable where possible. Curtain poles: Please mount as close to the ceiling as practical to create a wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling look. I’ve bought 7 brackets, but use only what you feel is needed for the cleanest finish. The curtain lengths have been measured for this height. Curtains: Please hang so they just brush the floor and create a full, soft look. Shelf: Install centrally above the bed using as many fixing points as practical. Canvases: Hang directly from the fitted D-rings (no wire), touching with no gap so they appear as one continuous piece. I installed curtain poles myself when I moved in, and the fixings have failed. Some poles have fallen down, others are loose. This covers most rooms (plasterboard walls). I need someone to: 1. Re-hang all curtain poles securely, using proper wall plugs/fixings (into studs where possible) so they hold long-term. 2. Fill and paint the old drill holes so the walls look clean afterward. I’d like a 50” TV mounted onto my wall with a full motion TV mount, as well as 3 floating shelves either side (all to be square and parallel) the wall is a stud wall, but very tricky to find them even with stud finder! Have purchased an extra tool from Amazon for the TV for this. Ignore detail or measurements from pic - just a visual aide!!
