Event details: Saturday 29 August 2026 4:30pm–10:30pm Approximately 50 guests Indoor gym venue in Windsor The party runs from 5pm–10pm, with 30 minutes allowed before and after for setup and pack-down. One person will primarily manage the bar, while the second will initially manage guest check-in before assisting with food service and general event duties. Responsibilities will include: * Setting up the bar, drinks and check-in areas * Checking guests off a supplied RSVP list * Welcoming guests and directing them into the event * Collecting the name, phone number and email address of guests who have not registered * Providing guests with an entry stamp and prize-draw ticket * Serving beer, wine, sparkling and basic mixed drinks * Monitoring responsible service of alcohol * Replenishing drinks, ice, cups and food stations * Clearing used cups, plates and general rubbish * Keeping the bar and event areas tidy * Assisting with cake service * Helping with light pack-down at the end of the night We will provide the RSVP list, check-in form, alcohol, drinks, food and consumables. At least one staff member must hold a current Victorian RSA certificate. Previous bartending, hospitality, reception or event experience is essential. We’re looking for people who are warm, confident, proactive and comfortable working independently at a relaxed social event. As the check-in role involves handling guest contact information, discretion and care with personal details are important. Please wear neat, plain black attire and enclosed shoes.
