Move boxes and furniture from an apartment (up 20 stairs with no lift) in Manly to Brookvale Self Storage in Brookvale. The storage facility closes on Saturday at 2pm, so the moving would have to happen between 10am to 2pm. Ideally you are supplying a vehicle and two or three people to help move the items. Probably about 2 vans worth of boxes & furniture to move (or a single truck). Effectively the contents of a 1-bed apartment. I am supplying use of one of the vans (a GoGet Hiace). You will supply the other van (or truck). I'm suggesting the use of 2 vans instead of a truck because it's unlikely a truck would manage to get down the 1:4 gradient driveway ramp, which is steep and narrow. Whereas a GoGet Hiace van can make it down the ramp no problem (that's what I used to move in here). Contents include boxes of plates etc (contents of a standard kitchen), 5 wine-boxes full of books (heavy), several boxes full of clothes & bed sheets etc. Appliances: laundry machine and a lightweight air-fryer only (no fridge, no microwave). Key furniture: A tall ikea robe (emptied), three timber credenzas (emptied), a bed, Note, the fridge is being given away, and I'm intending to sell the dining table and chairs rather than move them. Same for the couch, and potentially for the bed (tbc). So at the moment I'm assuming they aren't being taken to storage.
