Hi, I need help moving my belongings from Bexley to Sans Souci. Friday the 24th morning, 9am preferable Pickup location: Bexley apartment (2nd floor) Access involves approximately 3 flights of stairs (no lift) Drop-off location: Sans Souci house Ground floor access (easy access) It is a small 2-bedroom apartment. Items to be moved include: 1 x single bed (does not disassemble) 1 x single mattress 1 x small storage cube unit 1 x medium storage cube unit 1 x 65” TV 1 x large sofa (can be separated into 2 pieces) 1 x double bed frame (already disassembled) 1 x double mattress 1 x 5-drawer chest of drawers 2 x small shoe cabinets 2 x bedside tables 1 x large fridge 1 x large/heavy washing machine 1 x clothes dryer Around 10 x medium moving boxes Around 10 x medium bags of clothes 3 x suitcases Looking for reliable movers with appropriate equipment (trolley/straps) to safely handle the heavier items, especially the fridge and washing machine. We have a very heavy and solid wooden shelf (likely 100kg+) that we want moved up one flight of stairs. The difficult part is not only the weight and dimensions of the shelf, but that the stairs are right next to the front door, so it will likely require some awkward and careful manoeuvring and pivoting to get it up sideways. We need a team who are very conscious about not damaging the wall and staircase (it is hollow and likely wouldn’t be able to support the weight of the shelf without damage) to help with this job. We had a team of two men previously try with this job but they weren’t able to do it, and said it would likely need 4 strong men. However, it may be difficult to fit 4 men and the shelf on the narrow staircase with a little over 1m width(Maybe 2 supporting the bottom and 1 on top?) We are offering a higher fee for just one item as we need a very careful, strong and professional team.
