We have a very heavy and solid wooden shelf (likely 100kg+) that we want moved up one flight of stairs. The difficult part is not only the weight and dimensions of the shelf, but that the stairs are right next to the front door, so it will likely require some awkward and careful manoeuvring and pivoting to get it up sideways. We need a team who are very conscious about not damaging the wall and staircase (it is hollow and likely wouldn’t be able to support the weight of the shelf without damage) to help with this job. We had a team of two men previously try with this job but they weren’t able to do it, and said it would likely need 4 strong men. However, it may be difficult to fit 4 men and the shelf on the narrow staircase with a little over 1m width(Maybe 2 supporting the bottom and 1 on top?) We are offering a higher fee for just one item as we need a very careful, strong and professional team.

Move a heavy package from the foyer of my apartment building to my unit. I need a lifting today from Bexley to Canberra

I require assistance from experienced movers to lift a new French door fridge (110kg) over a patio handrail to the upper storey of my townhouse and move it into the kitchen. The distance from the ground to the top of the handrail is 3 meters. It won’t be able to be lift via the staircases due to tight corners. Additionally, an old fridge (dimensions: 70cm wide x 72cm deep x 170cm high) needs to be moved downstairs for removal.
