Fridge pick-up and removal
Your Tasker arrives at your home to pick up your refrigerator. Whether you're looking to retire an old refrigerator or need to get a broken fridge removal, your Tasker can figure out the best way to remove it from your kitchen without damaging your property. This way, you won't even have to worry about doing the heavy lifting yourself!
Refrigerant removal and disposal
With the fridge removal done, your broken unit will now be brought to an old fridge disposal area. While it may be tempting to stow away the refrigerator at a dump, these appliances can be a bit more tricky. After all, these contain chemicals that can be dangerous if not disposed of correctly. As such, it must be taken to a proper disposal facility not only to comply with local legislation but to help ease the impact on the environment as well.
Fridge freezer disposal and recycling
Once the chemicals have been removed, your old unit can now be disposed of safely. If brought to a proper recycling plant, then your drained fridge casing will be dismantled to its base parts for recycling. Many parts of a fridge or freezer can be recycled into new products, including metals, plastics, and glass.
On the other hand, if your old unit was still in a repairable condition before the removal process, you have other options.
