Old bed removal
We can haul away almost any residential and hotel beds: king, queen, twin, single beds, bunk beds, day beds, sofa beds, even cot beds. Whether you are replacing them for good or moving houses, our bed removal experts know the tricks and techniques to get these bulky items out of your property safely.
The removal process usually involves:
- Assessing your old bed frame and mattresses for disposal.
- Removing pillows, linens, and beddings, as well as the mattress and box springs, if any.
- Fitting your dismantled bed frames inside an appropriately sized box.
- Wrapping your old mattress, especially if you also intend to dispose of them
- Carrying your bed frame and mattress to the curbside
- Loading your items onto a vehicle or truck for proper disposal
If your bed frames don't easily fit in a narrow pathway or staircase, our Taskers may have to disassemble them for easier handling.
Bed and mattress removals
Fortunately, most bed frames and mattresses are made with recyclable materials, so they won't quickly deteriorate even after decades of use. If they're still in good condition and you're planning to get rid of them, you can resell them or donate your old items to charity. Meanwhile, damaged mattresses and broken frames can be handed over to recycling centres for proper disposal. There's virtually nothing to waste–metal or wood bed frames, mattress foams and filling materials, and box springs can all be reprocessed to new valuable products.
