Looking for a horticulturalist or someone with horticultural experience. I have 3 small osmanthus (tallest is about 1m) and they’ve all had some die back and the leaves are drooping. I’ve tried some watering but it doesn’t seem to have done anything. They also likely need some of the dead bits pruned off. In addition, I have a lime tree that’s in the process of defoliation. I have no idea what caused it - it appeared to be doing fine and had just blossomed, and then suddenly the leaves started curling up and now are browned. However when I scratch the bark, it’s still green underneath. Would love: - an assessment / diagnosis - any necessary next steps - eg on the osmanthus while some bits are green, other parts have died and so need to be pruned - any advice you can give on how to prevent this happening in future.
