Clean and prepare for water proofing

My pool pump is not circulating water. I have checked it the pipes from the pool basket to the pump basket and there is no blockage. I have tried to manually prime the pump but as soon as I turn it on there is no water coming from the pump back in to the basket and through to the pool. I don’t want to replace the pump if it’s not necessary do I need to have it checked to see if there is a simple fix.

The spa water doesn’t heat up, the flow of water through the opening is good, however sometimes the flow buttons doesn’t work. Need someone to check the operation and ensure it works properly.
