Hello, We are looking for a licensed plumber or a skilled handyman to fix a stuck sink plug at our retail store, in Wagga Wagga. The Issue: The pop-up plug in our staff/optometry room sink is stuck in the closed position. As a result, the sink is holding stale water and cannot be used, which is a significant hygiene and operational issue for both staff and customers needing to wash their hands. Staff have been unable to release the plug themselves. The Job: The task is to repair the sink plug to restore full drainage and functionality. The scope of work will involve: 1. Assessing the pop-up plug mechanism. 2. Releasing the stuck plug and allowing the sink to drain. 3. Diagnosing the cause of the issue (e.g., failed mechanism, debris, misalignment). 4. Repairing or adjusting the existing mechanism so that it operates correctly. If the mechanism is broken beyond repair, you may need to supply and install a new, standard pop-up sink waste. 5. Testing the plug to ensure it opens and closes smoothly and holds water correctly when closed.
