However, the taps themselves are quite old and I don’t have a tool that can fit the middle for removal. Trying to get an idea for quotes! Just moved into a new rental apartment and the current shower head is in terrible state. I bought a new one but I can’t seem to get the old one off when I try and use a wrench. Not sure why. Am I’m not experienced in it I don’t what to force it. Water pressure for hot water is also low so maybe washers need replacing also ? If someone can come over and change the shower head and check the washers that would be great.

Fix Loose Shower Spout Behind Tiled Wall (Licensed Plumber Required) Task Description: I need help fixing a loose shower spout that was likely over-tightened during a previous install. The pipe now turns inside the wall, which is preventing me from securely fitting a new water-saving showerhead I bought recently. There’s no leaking, but I’ve had a handyman inspect it and he believes the copper pipe behind the tiles has come loose and will need to be re-secured inside the wall. This would involve: • Removing some tiles • Securing the pipe to the wall internally • Resealing and retiling the area You must be a licensed plumber for this task. I’m currently using the communal shower in my building so there’s no urgent rush, but ideally I’d love to get this sorted before next week if possible. I’ve just had shoulder surgery and I’m off work, so funds are a bit tight 😅—but if it has to be done, it has to be done. I have the shower filter ‘well verti’ The shower head can disconnect from the wall but I have no idea how to unscrew the shower head as it is on a swivel ball. I would like the filter attached to the shower head.
