We were able to replace the cold water tap on the bathroom basin without any issues or leaks. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the same luck with the hot water tap. The cover and spindle is stuck and when we tried to loosen it, the hot water pipe underneath started leaking. We already have the replacement tap set - we just need a plumber to remove the stuck hot water tap and fix the leak. If weekday labour rates are cheaper, we’d be happy to book it then.
