I’m looking for an experienced painter to paint some of the external white timber fascia on my house. The house is a California bungalow, and I only want the white fascia around the weatherboards painted. The weatherboards themselves are not to be painted. In the photos, I’ve circled in red the exact areas of white fascia that need to be done, and only those white sections are in scope. The existing paint appears to have only had one coat previously and is flaking back to the timber, so I want this done properly with full preparation and two coats for a durable finish. Preparation is important and should include washing down the trims, sanding as required, and any minor filling or prep needed to ensure good adhesion and longevity. The paint will be Dulux Weathershield in Natural White, that I can supply. Two full coats are required. Some of the fascia are on the first storey and can be accessed with a ladder. One section is on the second storey and will require working at height, likely from the roof, so you must be experienced and comfortable working safely at height and have the appropriate equipment. This is a relatively small amount of painting overall, but I’m looking for a good, long-lasting result rather than a quick touch-up. You’ll need to supply your own tools, ladders, safety equipment, etc.

I started painting our exterior timber trims at the front of our house, changing from a dark to light colour as pictured.
