I’m looking for an experienced painter to prepare and paint approximately 17 metres of unfinished external soffit/eaves, approximately 400mm wide, as shown in the photos. Colour: COLORBOND Surfmist Approximate area: 6.8 m² Budget: $500 including all paint and materials Scope of work The successful person will need to: - Thoroughly clean and prepare the existing soffit for paint - Prep surfaces where required, including filling any gaps - Check for and address any minor surface imperfections before painting - Apply a suitable exterior paint/primer system appropriate for the existing soffit material - Paint the soffit in Surfmist with sufficient coats to achieve an even, consistent finish - Carefully cut in around the brickwork, walls, fascia and other adjoining surfaces - Properly mask/protect all brickwork, windows, gutters, roof surfaces and surrounding areas and ensure there is no paint overspray or splatter on the brickwork or other surfaces - Clean up after the job and leave the area tidy The $500 budget is all-inclusive for labour, paint, primer (if required), masking/protection and all other materials are to be supplied by the person completing the job. Preference is for brush/roller application rather than spraying due to the proximity of the brickwork. If spraying is proposed, extensive masking and protection will be required to ensure absolutely no overspray reaches the brickwork, windows or surrounding surfaces. Please include in your offer: 1.
