I am looking to have my living and dining rooms painted green. My walls are currently white and were painted relatively recently. The total dimensions of the room are 3.6x7.4 There two windows and the front door in the wall space.
Julian is a nice man who tried his best. However, I found he had poor communication and that his work was sloppy - eg. many patches of wall where the white paint underneath could be seen, tried to fix paint that dripped onto the skirting boards while still wet resulting in the white skirting board being painted a mixture of the wall colour and white, the areas near doors and windows painted with a brush were streaky with white paint visible underneath, spray marks from the roller were left on the windowsills, paint marks were left on the hardwood floor (easily removed) and carpet (not easily removed). While he was happy to come back to fix issues I had identified, I do not feel that it was a professionally done job. Overall, the rooms turned out fine but this is because I looked over the work closely and asked him to return to fix it. Given that his quote was at the higher end of the 15 offers I received, I am disappointed by the experience and I would not use him again.

I need someone to help me refresh my dining table and 10 chairs. The table and chairs are currently in great condition but have some small marks and scratches that have appeared over the years. I have attached some sample pics. I need all surfaces (including table legs, chair seats, legs and backs) sanded back to remove those marks and scratches, and then have the wood resealed (at least two coats). Table is approx. 210cm x 105cm x 78cm. Chairs are 110cm high and 44cm wide. I can supply varnish/ poly. You will need your own tools and brushes. Work can be done on site, or potentially collected and returned. - Due date: Flexible
