My goals include: -playing at speed, shredding -tapping -whammy bar techniques (divebomb etc) -improvisation especially in a rock/blues context -better understanding of tone shaping and gear knowledge About me: -I’m an intermediate electric guitarist myself. Rhythm/lead guitarist in a band and covering the likes of Joan Jett, Toto, ABBA, KISS. Hoping to expand my skill set as we incorporate more music influenced by the likes of Van Halen and Poison. -I have my own gear; strat (very basic), various pedals, line 6 catalyst amp. Budget is around $90 per hour but negotiable for the right fit. Willing to travel within the Brisbane region.

I know I'll never be a good singer so my aim is to be 'not bad' (measured by our guests not screwing up their faces or blocking their ears!). I'm looking for weekly or fortnightly lessons (depending on how much help you think I need). I work remotely so can be relatively flexible with the time but it would need to be between school hours when my partner is not here so late morning or early afternoon. I also have Wednesdays off work so that would be preferable, if possible. We live in the CBD and I'm willing to travel to you if it's not too far.
