I’m looking for a mobile mechanic to inspect a 2012 Skoda Octavia Scout diesel wagon before buying. The car runs and drives, but the engine light is on and the battery is flat, so I need someone who can bring a diagnostic scan tool / OBD2 scanner to read the fault codes and give me a basic opinion on whether it looks like a minor issue or a major repair risk. 2007 Mercedes Benz a class wont start. Fob batteries fine as they lock and unlock car. The car also has battery as dashboard lights up and car also turning over so not a battery issue. Hi there,I need a qualified mobile mechanic or auto electrician to come to Dee Why to inspect and diagnose my automatic 2010 Mazda 3, which has suddenly gone into a classic limp mode.Current Symptoms:Radiator fan turns on max and runs constantly as soon as the car starts.AT (Automatic Transmission) fault light and Traction Control light are both lit on the dash.Heavy, violent clunking shock when moving the shifter into Reverse or Drive.Extremely sluggish acceleration (car feels locked in 3rd gear).This points directly to the well-known Mazda 3 Transmission Control Module (TCM) thermal/communication failure.Even when the engine is completely cold, the radiator fan still blasts at 100% max speed immediately upon startup.What I need done:Plug in an OBD2 diagnostic scanner to confirm the fault codes (expecting U0101 - Lost Communication with TCM).Remove the faulty TCM (located under the battery box).Install a replacement/refurbished TCM (I can source this myself from eBay/Wreckers, or please advise if you can supply it in your quote).Crucial: Relocate the new TCM away from the transmission housing and securely mount it next to the battery box so it doesn't overheat again.Please quote for the initial diagnostic visit and labour.
