Hi, I'm looking for an experienced mobile motorcycle mechanic to inspect and repair my 2004 Honda VTR250 (carburettor model). Issues: - The motorcycle was running normally earlier today. - It now won't start. - Liquid is dripping from two areas around the carburettor/engine. - There is a petrol smell, so I suspect a fuel leak. - There may also be a battery issue. What I need: - Diagnose the suspected fuel leak. - Inspect the carburettor, fuel hoses and connections. - Repair the problem if possible. - Check the starting issue once the fuel leak is resolved. Location: Burleigh Waters, Gold Coast. I need someone who can come to my location. The motorcycle is currently unsafe to ride. I recently had a mobile mechanic attend to replace the fan belt. He then also serviced the van, which I appreciated, and he noticed an unplugged cable, which he reconnected. However, the vehicle was not tested afterwards, as he was finishing the job late at night. The following day, the oil warning light came on. I suspect the cable may have previously been disconnected by another mechanic, and the issue may be related to the oil pressure sensor or wiring, but I need someone to properly diagnose it and carry out the necessary repairs. Over the past week, the mechanic who attended has advised on three occasions that he would source the required part, but I haven't been able to get a response since. I'm now simply looking for someone who can get this sorted. The job may involve replacing the oil pressure sensor or carrying out other repairs, depending on the diagnosis.
