Hi, I am thinking of selling at Glebe markets but would like to do some research. I just need someone to stand outside a particular stall this Saturday at Glebe markets and write down how many paying customers a particular stall gets. You need to do this for 1 continuous hour between 12-2pm. Don't stalk them or anything. Just observe. Thanks

I have a range of 40 pieces that i would like to sell - cheaply, I think a market stall at glebe markets, bondi or kirribilli would be the best approach. Require you to collect the clothes, and tag clothes with price tag & set up stall and sell for 1 day.

Christmas work for nerdy types! For most people sending parcels is a bit of a pain. Getting to the post office, lining up, growing old while you wait, then being surprised by the price... it's not much fun for small business owners and consumers. Especially not pre-Christmas. We’ve set out to change all that. Sendle is unlocking the power of big business delivery networks for everyone. We’re an innovative Australian startup providing door-to-door parcel deliveries across Australia at low, flat-rates. We’re harnessing major courier networks to create a simple, user-friendly service that transforms parcel sending from a pain in the bottom to something wonderful. Sendle provides an elegant online experience for bookings, payment and tracking, and we are matching it with an equally elegant, highly professional customer service experience. The company is growing very quickly through word of mouth and major partnerships with leading consumer brands like NRMA, and we are getting very busy in the run up to Christmas. That’s why we’re looking for some super smart and positive young people to help us through the Christmas rush. Starting Monday, November 30, you’d be joining our Customer Happiness Team for three weeks full-time work. We’ll give you on the job training so that you are quickly able to contribute to an exceptional customer experience. Sendle's Customer Happiness Team Sendle’s CHT works to delight customers over the phone, and email. We believe that fast and personal support inherently makes people happy. And we need people who can turn tricky questions and tough problems into joyful outcomes that our customers tell their friends about. Hit the ground running You’ll be using your IQ, EQ and eye for detail to solve queries for customers, monitor our dashboards, and work closely with our suppliers. We’re an early stage business which means you get to work directly with the founders and key team members. So you’ll need to have an entrepreneurial outlook, be prepared to learn fast and work hard. The role in a nutshell We’re busy. And we’re getting busier all the time. So we need people who wants to step in, learn and help solve customer issues efficiently. You’ll need to be an excellent “people person”, ideally with a strong track record in Customer Support or retail. More specifically you’ll need: - A high level of attention to detail - Enthusiasm for ‘rolling your sleeves up’, working hard and getting the job done - To be comfortable working with technology - Fast and accurate keyboard skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Good judgement and the ability to make decisions on the fly - A laptop, wifi and a phone - we’ll give you a SIM card for phone calls When we say ‘rolling your sleeves up’ these are the kinds of things we are talking about: - Following up on deliveries - Responding to support queries - Liaising with couriers - Taking client phone calls where appropriate What you’ll need: You’ll need to be smart and quick witted. You’ll also need to be a positive person who is diligent, has a 'never give up’ attitude and loves detail. It's not just the ability to communicate that matters, it is the ability to keep track of hundreds of deliveries in your head (not literally of course), and when things go awry to use tools and not give up until a parcel delivered. You’ll need to speak, read and write english with aplomb. You’ll also need to be a quick learner of tools like Zendesk and our own proprietary software engine called “Zeus” (yes, it’s very powerful!). It’s quite likely that you’re the nerd in the family - you know, the one everyone runs to when they can’t figure out how to sync their iPhone. In other words, you’ll enjoy technology and have excellent keyboard and software skills. A high performance team: We work toward our goals by being in constant communication in person, over Slack, email and Google Hangouts. We also have big ears for feedback from customers to help us continually improve the Sendle service. We’re pretty good at what we do, so you’ll be learning from and working with a top flight team. What matters to us: We believe that our culture is one of our most important assets and we’ve wrapped it up with nine key values that we do our best to live up to every day. 1. Do what you said you would do. ‘Nuff said 2. Shoot for the stars. Deliver OMG customer experiences. They’re happy, we’re happy 3. Honesty is the best policy. Start everything with honest and open communication 4. Put others first. Listen. Put yourself in the customers’ shoes 5. Seek to grow. Learning is growing. Be humble, stay open 6. Be a “nowist”. Be present and work in the moment, people know when you’re with them 7. Keep calm and stay positive. Your energy, attitude and emotions are infectious. Be positive 8. Get stuff done. Focus on what matters, love the challenge, be discerning and resourceful 9. Play nicely. Everyone’s clever, everyone’s different, everyone’s important. Help each other win Where you'll work: You will work in our Glebe office, near Sydney University on Glebe Point Road. We have a real coffee machine and plenty of good cafe options nearby along with excellent public transport. Perks and Benefits: We’re looking for someone who wants to join a young, market challenging company and help us get through the “peak parcel” period. You'll be working 9-5 with an hour off for lunch for the three weeks from Nov 30 to Dec 18. Still reading? We’d love to hear from you! If your hand is shooting up while you call out “Choose me!” to all of the points below, please get in touch! I am a lifelong learner and lover of people and technology in equal measure. That’s me! I have customer service experience, and love problem solving and helping customers over email, phone and anywhere else I meet them. Oh yeah! I have read "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie and keep a copy of Tony Hsieh’s "Delivering Happiness" under my pillow. Love 'em! I feel excited about working with a close-knit team that values of honesty, positivity, personal growth, and collaboration. I’m so there already! I speak and write excellent English. (If you can speak and write another language it’s a bonus). Sendle sounds a bit nerdy like me. I want this job. Let’s get the conversation started. Apply now.
