Details: Seeking an experienced, insured gardener for a one-off tidy-up at my Mosman townhouse (295sqm lot, sloping site, single-storey at the front, double-storey at the rear with a deck). Lawns are very small and the hedges are short runs despite their height. ASAP start preferred. Job scope - Hedge trimming (2 hedges): - Hedge 1: approx. 5m high x 3m long (long-reach pole and/or specialist ladder needed) - Hedge 2: approx. 3m high x 3m long - Roof and gutters: Clear leaves and debris with a high-powered blower from the roof valleys, flat roof sections, and all accessible gutters, including the double-storey drop over the rear deck. Roof access is via a tall ladder at the front, and the rear flat roof is reachable from the deck. - Lawns: Quick mow and edge of one very small front lawn and one small nature strip. - Garden beds: Rake leaves and debris from the front and rear beds. - Final blowdown: Once everything else is done, blow dust, debris and clippings off the walls, windowsills, paths and rear deck. - Green waste: Collect, compact and pack it all into our 2 x large green bins (240L each). The lawn needs to be lowered, in some places by as much as 60-70mm, following the repaving of the patio. The current lawn will need to be removed then the area dug out to allow the new turf to be laid level with the ceramic pavers. The area is approx. 17sq/m. I can purchase the turf or you should price it separately if you wish to provide it. Great care will be needed to avoid chipping the new pavers when removing the turf and soil, perhaps timber strips used around the edges to protect it. Based on advice from a couple of friends I have decided to defer the work until probably October when the grass will grow much more quickly. Thanks to all those who have shown interest.
