We are preparing the area for Sir Walter DNA Certified Buffalo, and I need the foundation to be 100% correct before the turf arrives. The Scope of Work: Rectify Timber Edging: I have existing 3m treated pine sleepers. The back run is currently "floating" on the surface. I need these trenched and levelled so they create a straight, stable frame for the lawn. Structural Support: Ensure all sleepers are secured with internal stakes and joined with mending plates so they don't tilt or shift under the weight of the new turf. Soil Leveling & Prep: * The yard currently has a rough soil base that needs leveling. I need 3 cubic meters of Sandy Turf Underlay (80/20 mix) supplied, spread, and compacted. The final soil level must be screeded to 15mm below the top of the timber edge to allow the turf to sit flush. Apply Gypsum to the clay sub-base before the underlay goes down. Site Details: Area: Approx 70 m². Access: Side access. Current State: Timber and mulch are on-site, but the sleepers need to be re-seated properly.
