I run a growing premium laundry service based in Toorak and I’m looking for a reliable, hardworking person to help with folding and ironing on an ongoing basis. This is not a one-off job — I’m looking for someone who can consistently commit to Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday each week, with regular hours as the business continues to grow. The work • Professional ironing of clothing and linen • Folding laundry neatly and consistently • Sorting and organising customer orders • Preparing completed orders for customers • Taking care with delicate and premium garments • Keeping the workspace tidy and organised Who I’m looking for • Reliable and punctual • Fast but very careful and detail-oriented • Confident with ironing • Someone who takes pride in presentation • Previous laundry, ironing, housekeeping, hotel or garment-care experience is a bonus • Available Friday–Monday on an ongoing basis • Looking for regular work rather than occasional jobs Location: Toorak Rate: $30–$35 per hour depending on experience Hours: Friday–Monday, with hours to be discussed based on availability and workload Ongoing work available for the right person Please tell me: 1. Handling tasks related to laundry primarily In home ironing (using our heavy-duty steam iron) ie. Ironing of work wear, kids clothes, bedsheets etc. and basic folding. Weekly service 2-3hrs, rate based on experience per hr.
