The yard has a slight angle between the brick wall and the pool; we are doing a hybrid layout (low-profile deck + river pebbles) to manage drainage without heavy excavation. Scope of Work: * Low-Clearance Composite Deck (~18–22 sqm): * Install low-profile aluminium joists over adjustable pedestals (flush with pool coping tiles). * Areas: Foreground platform (pool entry) and side path between brick house and pool. * Manage the angle between the house wall and pool neatly using picture-framing / border boards. * Keep house weep holes completely clear. * Drainage Integration (Critical): * Install a strip drain (Reln/Everhard) along the house wall / under-deck line to catch runoff and connect to stormwater. * Lay geotextile weed mat + agg line under deck frame to prevent water pooling against the house. * River Pebble Section (~12–15 sqm): * Lay heavy-duty geotextile matting around the rear deep end and along the green shed. * Spread natural river pebbles evenly. * Pool Fence Compliance (AS 1926.1): * Ensure finished levels maintain the mandatory 1200mm barrier height and keep the 900mm NCZ compliant. I need a labourer Sunday 12 July (tomorrow) to move some soil and rocks from the back yard to the from yard. I am having an excavator on site to break up a small rock border and level part on the garden. I estimate this will take 3 hours. Wheelbarrow, shovel supplied. I do not have a start time yet, but I think it will be around 10am start.
