Soil moving and trench digging

$300

Lindfield NSW 2070, Australia

7th Dec 2020

The job involves completing a trench and moving the soil to a bin. You will need to bring your own wheelbarrow and spade/ shovel. We have a crowbar you can use. A pick would be handy but not essential. You will also need to bring a wooden/ metal plank for going up/ down a garden wall (approx 1m in height) with the wheelbarrow. We estimate it will take two days for one person or one day for two people. If a sole person, our preference is the first day is Wednesday 9th and we are flexible on the second day. If you like working for us, there are another 1-2 days work in the next week or two as well. Happy to pay $50 per hour. Flexible whether you wish to work 6 or 8 hour days. The price quoted in the headline assumes a 6 hour day. Thank you

Todd and his colleague did a great job. Moving lots of soil. Thank you

Dig Trench - House at Chatswood

$500

Chatswood NSW 2067, Australia

23rd Aug 2020

Looking to dig a trench next to our house by shovel or mini excavator (with caution) as highlighted in yellow on the attached photo and plan. The trench will be approx 1 metre deep and the width of a shovel. Once tree roots are found in the trench, a further dig so the tree root can be be shown from top to bottom (see illustration pic). The picture below is an example of what is required to see the top and bottom of the tree root. Care will need to be taken not to damage the tree root. Mini excavator could be used but will need to be careful not to damage pipes or tree roots. Quote is to lift up pavers, dig a trench as described - photos will be taken - only 1 hour and then the trench to be filled back again and pavers put back. The job doesn’t need to be done the same day. Could be dig up and then replace the next day.

Judd and a diligent and hard worker that did exactly as the task outlined - will be using again - highly recommended - thanks Judd

Landscaping including drainage trench

$5,000

Berowra Heights NSW, Australia

9th Feb 2020

I have recently had excavation of soil and debris + retaining wall replaced with Quarry sandstone in the rear sloping yard. I have a bunch of lose large rocks on the sloping raised garden that will need to be used to shape the landscape. In addition to this I need to create a trench in front of the sandstone wall to drain excess water off into the storm water pipe already in garden. On top of this I would also like to replace the existing paving stone in front of the wall so that it is one consistent level etc. Could you please let me know if this is something you would be able to complete and give me a rough idea of cost. I could source the required materials myself if needed or preferred. Many thanks, Richard
