Hi, I’m looking for someone to help with a small garden project in my backyard. The job involves: Creating an L-shaped garden bed, including digging and removing the existing soil. Increasing the width of the existing garden bed by the pool and installing modular steel edging (already purchased — Modern Garden Edging) so it sits flush with the lawn. Installing edging along all new garden bed sections (see photos for reference). Adding mulch (which I will provide) to finish the new garden bed. Removing a few small shrubs (see photo near the wheelie bins). Removing olive tree prunings — around 1 cubic metre (see photo). Removing a large wooden planter box that’s currently filled with soil (photo attached). I’ll provide mulch, a wheelbarrow, and a good shovel if needed. I also plan to purchase a large 500L tree (around 2m tall) that will need to be moved carefully through the house, down deck steps, and planted in the backyard. I have a photo of the tree for reference but haven’t purchased it yet. Delivery will only be to the front of the house. Please note — I only have a standard green waste bin, so you’ll need to provide a way to remove the soil, turf, and prunings. I need the gravel and the sand to make a patio.

I need around 12 sq mts of soil dug up and sifted for rock. Clean fill placed back in dug out area. It should take no more than 4-5 hours. $50 per hour. Also need 2 cubic meters of fresh top soils spread out to level out around 30 squares of grass area, ready for seeding. Tools supplied but an extra barrow would help. Happy to discuss further works to be done.
