    Get it done

Choose the right person for your task and get it done.

    What does landscaping include?

When you book your landscaper, it’s important to let them know in your task exactly what work you need done. That way, they’ll be able to make you a fair offer and bring along the right tools for the job.

Not sure where to start? If you need a range of general landscaping services, grab a notepad and pen, then go for a wander outside. Make a note of anything that needs tidying up, trimming, or removing. Then make sure you include these tasks in your listing.

Another way to think about your landscaping is to break it down by the type of specialised skill or service you need. Here are some of the jobs you might give to your landscaper and what you can expect to happen during the process.

    Planning

When you’re undertaking a BIG change, it’s important to lay the groundwork with some planning, first. A garden designer will help come up with ideas and map everything out on paper before you get started. Or you might hire a landscape architect to plan a larger commercial landscaping project in your local community or public space.

    Earth and rocks

Don’t break your back over your backyard landscaping - no matter how little or how much you need to do. You can hire earthmoving contractors to do your trench digging, levelling, and even your pool excavation or boring excavation. They’ll bring the all tools and equipment needed to dig and move the earth so you (literally) don’t have to get your hands dirty.

    Gardens

Planning a nice new garden bed to grow your own veggies, flowers, shady trees, or just want to reduce the amount of ground you have to mow? Get some help with your garden landscaping and garden edging to get the project off your to-do list and done sooner. That way, you can get on with the fun bit - planting!

    Water

Where there’s plants, there’s water. Make sure your plants get water when they need it (without having to remember to hose) with a drip irrigation system or a sprinkler system installation. Or make your garden more beautiful with a garden pond or water features. Either way, getting your water systems sorted is so much quicker and easier with an extra pair of hands or a landscaper near you who knows what they’re doing.

    Trees

Trees are wonderful things, but sometimes, a tree’s gotta go. If you’re not experienced, you should never do chainsawing, stump grinding, wood chipping and mulching, or land clearing yourself. That’s something you should leave up to an experienced landscaper with the right equipment and background to get the job done properly and safely.

    Building and installations

A big component of landscaping is installing things to make your space more functional and beautiful. Things like retaining walls, artificial turf, landscape lighting or even garden benches to sit on. It’s always best to get a landscaper to help when it involves heavy lifting or specialist equipment. They’ll help you get your installations done safely and help you start enjoying your space much sooner.

I need gardening and landscaping services

    $480

    Sandy Bay TAS 7005, Australia

    19th Jan 2019

I am in Red Knights Road, Sandy Bay. I am looking for someone close to me who can work 3-4 hours at a time on various landscaping and gardening tasks. We would start with digging and installing a drain, and then moving on to putting in a retaining wall and steps. I would probably work with you a bit, but there is a limit to what I can do and I need someone younger and stronger. I don't have a rigid, fixed plan, but will adjust my thinking along the way. For that reason the work would have to be done step by step at an hourly rate, not as a quote for a whole job. Please let me know if that interests you, and if so your hourly rate.

    Bellerive TAS 7018, Australia

    21st Jan 2019

Hey there, my name is Jclennett@hotmail.com. I need to hire a handyperson to help me in Bellerive TAS 7018, Australia. What do you need done? Removal of a couple of sleepers from garden What is the type of property? House Which areas of the property need work? The backyard What would you like the handyperson to work on? To remove two garden sleepers and take away, and take away two additional sleepers. They will require some digging and grinding as they are attached to a steel bracket.

Rishi and his wife were great workers. They were polite and respectful and were on time. They completed the task to my satisfaction, and did a great job. I would have no hesitation in recommending Rishi for a gardening job.
